Kara joined Winslow Asset Management, Inc. in 2006. Previously, she was the Sales Director for Cedar Partners, ltd. where she identified and evaluated emerging asset managers. While at Cedar, Kara also consulted with these firms on issues such as strategic planning, succession planning and product development. Prior to forming Cedar Partners, an Oak Associates, ltd. subsidiary, she was the Director of Relationship Management and a member of the Portfolio Advisory Team, which was responsible for overseeing over $5B in large-cap growth assets at Oak Associates. Kara was associated with Oak Associates and subsidiaries from 2000-2006. Kara began her career as a Sales Consultant for UNUMProvident Corporation. She earned a BA in Economics from Denison University.
Kara is involved in the community through her service on the Akron Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Amarillo-based American Quarter Horse Association Finance Committee. Kara is a graduate of the Cleveland Bridge Builders program.
